December 2009 News
12/31/09 - I feel like a dinosaur, thinking back to the days when 1GB of memory was a lot, today I just bought a 4TB harddrive just to store HD movie footage, it's supposedly designed specifically for professional content creation applications like Final Cut Studio. I can't wait till this 3D stuff is accessible to filmmakers on the indie level, god knows how much shit I'm gonna have to buy for that.
12/28/09 - A lot of people want to know my real age, well somehow this website has it right, curious, click below...
12/25/09 - "All movie information related to Sean Weathers - English movie (film) Director." Hey Sean Weathers, that's me!
12/22/09 - Yes Anna, it does rock to see yourself on a movie poster that you're starring in.

12/19/09 - New poster artwork for The Trade Off.

12/16/09 - The first P2 card I got while shooting, The Trade Off in '08 was the 16GB R series. Now they have this E series out, which supposedly has a shorter shelf life but faster transfer time. So I decided to go with E cause the waiting around just kills momentum. I got a 64GB card, when shooting in 1080i it's a touch more than one minute per GB.
12/13/09 - That previous post reminds me that I forgot to spotlight another cast member from the The Trade Off. The woman who plays my mother, Lucinda Carr.
12/10/09 - Okay, meet Okema T. Moore, she plays my sister in The Trade Off. I shot her scene a couple months ago, but never got around to posting it... Oh shooting, what a distant memory you are.
12/7/09 - Full Circle Movie Talk: That Melissa Listen as your hosts Sean Weathers and Aswad Issa take on 6 topics in 60 minutes ranging from Full Circle news, to the movie industry, to current events.
12/4/09 - So after finally giving up on the lemon that is the citidisk, I'm left with the options of either a firestore or possibly some other type of HD harddrive to store footage that may or may not be, "actually recording" when I press record. Or more P2 cards which for every minute of recording I do I have to wait about 3 to transfer it before I can shoot again. I can do this in 15, 30, or 60 minute intervals depending on how much money I have to spend on a card. Which ultimately means no matter what option I choose, I'm fucked almost as bad as a little boy trapped in a room alone with a catholic priest.

12/1/09 - I could say a lot of things about the citidisk, but in the end a picture says a thousand words...
